Colony Gift Corporation is the UK's leading candle manufacturer. From the safety of the viewing gallery, you can see Colony candle makers using the traditional skills of hand pouring and dipping (Mon - Fri 9am - 3pm only). Visitors can then have a go at dipping their own candle at the shops dipping bench.

The world famous museum devoted to Laurel & Hardy is located in Ulverston, the town where Stan was born on the 16th June 1890. Everything you want to know about them is here. The late Bill Cubin, the founder of the museum devoted his life to these world famous comedians and collected an amazing memorabilia, believed to be the largest in the world, including photographs, personal items and furniture.
